★ Hitsukuya's 2016 Love Live Calendar + Stickers Review! ★

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! Today I'm going to be talking about an order I placed in December that I've been waiting quite impatiently for haha!

And that was Hitsukuya's Love Live Calendar that released for 2016! It was a HUGE hit! Which is no surprise... who wouldn't want something this adorable?

It finally arrived today and I am excited to review this!

Now the order is very special since it came with an amazing perk! If you ordered before December 31st, 2015 your calendar will arrive with 9 stickers of µ's and a UR enevelope (idea originally from the mobile app game, Love Live! School Idol Festival)

It arrived in a very sturdy cardboard envelope, which I was thankful for since not many people who sell products fragile like these put them in packaging that will preserve their appearance. 

The back was slightly dirty but I believe that was due to how the postal service treated the package. I'm honestly surprised it came all in one nice flat piece, most of my packages are usually wrinkled or squished in the mailbox!

Tah-dah! Here is the beautiful calendar. The colors are beautiful in person but due to my dark lighting it doesn't show how vibrant they really are, I'm very sorry :( Though I did snap some pictures in a different room and the lighting really captured the colors well!

 I love the smooth, matte feel the pages had. One of my pet peeves is a shiny, slippery calendar which makes it hard to write in marker and smudges all over! But these pages make it perfect to write on and doesn't smudge! There is also a hole punched for your convenience which I appreciated a ton since I'm a huge push pin and cork board type of person! And the pages aren't too thin, but just the right thickness!

I love how Hitsukuya indicated holidays in certain months, like Valentines day! The heart was such a cute touch! As well she also indicated when it's one of the members birthday in certain months! If you're a SIF player, I'm sure you'll never miss those free 5 loveca ever again! 

As well, the spaces are big enough to write all your important events and reminders! Each month has a unique drawing that either indicates one of the members birthday or a sub group! 

But as I was flipping through the calendar, I just couldn't help but salivate looking at the amazing backgrounds full of food! This Ramen looks almost real! And so beautifully drawn as well.

I admire how Hitsukuya went to the next level and added the perfect light effect to this cup of tea. It looks real as well! Major talent right there.

I'm a sucker for anything sweet and I just can't help but gush over how adorable and yummy this slice of cake looks! 

 The length of the calendar opened up is 28 cm and the width is 22 cm! It's not a very big calendar but personally I love small calendars because they fill up bare space in my walls full of posters! So perfect!

Now on to my next favorite thing about this package, the stickers and UR card!
They are just seriously way too cute and the quality is AMAZING! They also have the matte feeling and don't have the 'shiny' effect to them which is perfect for me! At first I wanted to stick them to my sketchbook since it's covered with stickers on the cover but these are just too cute to use! I just want to admire them forever and keep them in perfect condition!

And here's another perk! Originally you get 9 stickers but you get an extra sticker that is random! Notice how I have two Kotori's? I got lucky! She's one of my top favorite idols ❤

The UR envelope was such a cute touch! 

Inside it held all the adorable stickers perfectly!

 
The stickers range around 7cm to 5.5cm! And the envelope's length is 7.5cm! These stickers are a little on the large side since the ones I'm use to buying at cons are 5cm to 3cm so thank you Hitsukuya for including this in the pre-order!

I would be lying if I said I didn't squeal when I saw Hitsukya's autograph!

Anyways to conclude the blog, let me just say I am 100% happy with this purchase!
Hitsukuya's store resides in Canada and I reside in the USA so it took me about 4 weeks to receive my order (I bought around Christmas time and it was shipped first week of January since I believe Hitsukuya was at a con/busy at the time)
The calendar was priced at $15 with the stickers + envelopes included and shipping was $7 for me (using USD for pricing) so prices MAY vary depending where you live. So $22 wasn't a bad price at all! Also I'm happy I finally got to support one of my favorite artists ever! I know she works very hard on all her products and the quality in her work shows it.
